Overview
Limerick City and County Council is the governing authority for the city and county of Limerick in Ireland. Established on 1st June 2014 after the local elections, it resulted from the merger of Limerick City Council and Limerick County Council under the Local Government Reform Act 2014. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Limerick for an Assistant Chief Fire Officer. The Assistant Chief Fire Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing fire prevention activities, coordinating emergency services, implementing fire safety management protocols, and supporting fire service operations. The role involves ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, developing and executing fire safety strategies, and leading teams in emergency response scenarios.
