 
        Ergo are seeking aSenior DesktopSupport Engineerfor a permanent position in Dublin city centre.Working in a high-performance desktop trading environment you will provide technical support toM365 users, IT Infrastructure and internal applications. This is a varied role which includes desktop builds, hands-onComms Roomduties and systems administration.Candidates should be able todisassemble desktop PCsand replace / upgrade components.This is anonsiterolewith excellent learning opportunities.You should be open to a rotating shift of 9 AM - 5 PM and 6.30 AM - 3 PM.What will you do?Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and server problems upgrading and replacing desktop componentsDiagnose and solve hardware and software incidents and problemsAct as a central point of contact for all IT infrastructure related requests in relation to servers and IT networks, including maintenance and administrationSQL Administration and supportSystem Monitoring - monitoring of systems through operations monitoring and alerts toolsSupport of Windows Server environment including Exchange ServersSupport of Office 365 environmentApplication & User Support - provide primary support by dealing with user requests and responding to outages for all operational mattersProblem escalation to colleagues in other IT Teams where necessaryContribute to the documentation of IT policies, processes and proceduresInstall, maintain and support new applications and servicesWhat experience do you need?Previous experience in a similar role - Systems Administrator, IT Engineer, Systems Engineer etc.COMMS Room experienceIT Hardware including laptop buildsMicrosoft (Office) 365 AdministrationHigh availability technologies including UPS and RAIDSQL knowledge an advantage (training will be provided)IT qualifications desirable (MCP, ITIL, MCSA, CompTIA A+ N+ MTA)Apply today for more info.
