Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Project Director / PMO Lead
to establish, lead, and continuously improve the Project Management Office (PMO). This role is responsible for overseeing project governance, driving delivery excellence, aligning projects with strategic objectives, and ensuring consistent project management standards across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Project Management Office (PMO)
* Define and implement project governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
* Oversee portfolio, program, and project delivery to ensure alignment with business strategy
* Monitor project performance, risks, timelines, budgets, and resource utilization
* Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and insights to senior leadership
* Coach, mentor, and develop project managers and cross-functional teams
* Ensure consistent standards for planning, execution, risk management, and documentation
* Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and tools
* Act as a key stakeholder partner to business and leadership teams
Requirements
* Proven experience in project, program, or portfolio management
* Prior experience leading a PMO or large-scale project initiatives
* Strong understanding of project governance, methodologies, and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
* Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a complex environment
* Professional-level English communication skills
Nice to Have (Optional)
* PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar certifications
* Experience with PMO tools and platforms (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
* Experience working with senior executives or C-level stakeholders
