In partnership with our client (One of
Ireland's leading Civils and Utilities company's),
who is currently looking for an experienced
Design Project Manager
to join their team, with a background in
water infrastructure design
and
Project Management.
The
Design Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)
will lead the
Design
and
Coordination
of
Water Infrastructure Projects
, ensuring that all
Technical Designs Meet Client Requirements
,
Regulatory Standards
, and
Project Timelines
.
This role involves
Managing Multidisciplinary
Design Teams
, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and providing technical leadership throughout the
Project Lifecycle
from
Concept Design
to
Construction Handover
.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Manage the design process for
Water Infrastructure Projects
, including
Pipelines, Pumping Stations, Reservoirs,
and
Treatment Facilities.
* Coordinate internal and external design teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications,
Irish Water standards
, and
Regulatory
requirements.
* Prepare and review
Technical Designs, Drawings
, and
Documentation, Ensuring
accuracy and
Constructability.
* Liaise with
Project Managers, Site Teams
, and
Subcontractors
to
Integrate Design
and
Construction
activities.
* Conduct design risk assessments, ensuring all
Health, Safety
, and
Environmental
considerations are met.
* Manage project design schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time project delivery.
* Support tendering and bid processes by preparing
Technical Documentation
and
Design Inputs.
* Maintain
strong Stakeholder Relationships
with
Clients, Local Authorities
, and
Regulatory Bodies.
Required Experience and Competencies:
* Degree in
Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering
, or a related field.
* 5+ years'
experience in
Water Infrastructure Design
and
Project Management.
* Proven experience
Delivering Projects
in line with
Irish Water
or similar utility standards.
* Strong knowledge of design software and tools such as
AutoCAD, Civil 3D
, or equivalent.
* Excellent
Project Management
skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and
Stakeholder Management
skills.
* Full clean driver's license essential.
