With a strong track record delivering complex, high-quality building envelope solutions, this organisation supports projects across commercial, education, and healthcare environments.Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experiencedQuantity Surveyorto join their Commercial team. This role offers the opportunity to be involved across the full project lifecycle within a technically strong and collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging costs across multiple façade, curtain walling, and glazing projectsEarly involvement in projects, liaising with and supporting the tendering teamReviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions with clientsPreparing early-stage budgets, cost plans, and cashflow forecastsCarrying out risk analysis, value engineering, and cost controlAllocating work packages to subcontractorsManaging subcontract procurement, including preparation of contract documentationAdministering subcontract packages through to agreement of final accountsIdentifying, analysing, and mitigating commercial risksNegotiating variations and commercial matters to ensure budgets are maintainedPreparing and managing contractual claims where requiredProducing interim valuations and final accountsDeveloping and applying knowledge of relevant construction legislation and contract conditionsMaintaining awareness of commonly used building and subcontract formsAttending meetings with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholdersLiaising closely with site teams on day-to-day commercial mattersEnsuring interim valuations and progress claim notices are issued in line with statutory timelinesSupporting and overseeing project surveyors to ensure compliance with contractual and legislative requirementsMonitoring payment processes and ensuring timely certification and receiptKey Skills & ExperienceDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline3–5 years' experience in a similar roleExperience within façade, curtain walling, glazing, or a related specialist construction sectorStrong working knowledge of cost control and commercial managementProficient in relevant commercial and measurement software (e.g. CostX, Buildsoft, Bluebeam) and MS OfficeExperience managing or supporting junior team membersHigh level of attention to detailStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsProactive, organised, and driven approachWhy Consider This Opportunity?Join a respected specialist contractor delivering technically challenging, bespoke projectsExposure to the full project lifecycle within a growing businessOpportunity to work alongside experienced and knowledgeable professionalsSupportive team culture with a focus on collaboration and developmentLong-term career progression within a stable and expanding organisationBenefitsCompetitive salary in the region of €50,000 – €60,000, negotiable depending on experiencePension schemeHealth and wellbeing benefitsEmployee assistance programmeProfessional development and career progression supportAdditional benefits including cycle-to-work schemeThis employer is an equal opportunities organisation and welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates.
