Job Opportunity: Musculoskeletal Podiatry Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Podiatrist to fill the role of Clinical Specialist in Musculoskeletal Podiatry. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver advanced podiatric services in a hospital setting, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of complex foot and lower limb conditions, including gait disorders, sports injuries, and biomechanical issues. Advanced biomechanical assessment, orthotic therapy, and evidence-based rehabilitation are key components of this role.
In addition to clinical duties, the specialist will lead service development, support and train colleagues, and contribute to research, audit, and quality improvement initiatives. Compliance with CORU and HSE standards is essential.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
* Registration on the Podiatrists Register maintained by the Podiatrists Registration Board at CORU
* At least 5 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience in the required area of specialism
* A proven record of clinical excellence in the specialism
* Postgraduate qualification or course relevant to specialism
* Achievement in areas of clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives, practice development, teaching, and research
