Job Title: Grounds Man/Environmental Operative
Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to develop a career in grounds maintenance. As a Grounds Man/Environmental Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the pitches and playing areas are well maintained, safe and prepared for games.
Key Responsibilities:
* Grass cutting and pitch marking in preparation for games
* Erection and dismantling of flags, goals and nets
* Post-match repairs - forking, divoting, plugging and seeding, goalmouth repairs
* Aeration / top dressing of playing and training areas
* Application of fertilisers to playing and training areas
* Mowing of playing and training areas
* Ensuring dressing room, shower and toilet facilities are cleaned and prepared for all scheduled matches
* Ensuring car park and communal areas are clean and safe for players and spectators
* Day to day maintenance of clubhouse and grounds
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants should have no experience necessary, as accredited training will be provided to support your career development. Applicants must be flexible in relation to hours and day of work, with weekend work required.
