We are now seeking a motivated Collection Counter Sales Assistant to join our team.
Role Overview
The Collection Counter Sales Assistant will support our merchant partners by coordinating order collections, assisting with account queries, and providing product and service information. This role requires strong communication skills, accuracy in handling account details, and the ability to deliver professional support to customers and their staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate collections for merchant customers and their staff.
* Process orders and transactions accurately through the company system.
* Provide product and service information, with upselling and cross-selling where appropriate.
* Assist with account collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and collections.
* Resolve customer queries efficiently, escalating where necessary.
* Ensure collection points and storage areas are organised and presentable.
* Work closely with the sales and accounts teams to support business objectives.
Requirements
* Previous experience in sales support, collections, or customer service (experience in the plumbing & heating sector an advantage).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word).
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a busy environment.
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent required; further education desirable.
Schedule
* Full-time, Monday to Friday .
