The Client and overview of the Role: I am working with a Residential Developer and a €190m turnover Main Contracting Group to find a number of Engineers for Apartment and Housing projects in the Limerick region, I have placed several people with these business over the years with good feedback. They are all able to offer continuity of work in the Limerick region plus progression opportunities over time. The Developers have 4-5 years of Construction to do and Main Contractors have projects starting in January for 2-3 years too. Main responsibilities will include: If you are a Site Engineer, you will be required to set out. At Senior Engineer, you'll be supervising but may have to Set-Out from time to time. Coordinate and liaise with Senior Management, subcontractors, site personnel and/or Local Authorities and Utilities businesses, giving timely and accurate information. Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specification and drawing requirements. Supervising and coordinating subcontractors, conducting site inspections, and providing technical expertise. Involvement in project planning, risk management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulation. Managing and maintaining the RFI register on site. Managing and maintaining the submittals register on site. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management related discipline 2+ years experience as a Site Engineer/Senior Site Engineer with a Main Contractor or Residential Developer. Experience using setting out equipment - Eg. total station, GPS and laser levels. Knowledge of temporary works coordination. Strong attention to detail and able to work on own initiative.
