Cybersecurity Engineer Dublin / Permanent €70,000 - €90,000 Overview: I am seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support and enhance an organisation's cybersecurity infrastructure through the deployment, management, and optimization of security tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security technologies, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining secure, reliable systems. Your responsibilities: Deploy, configure, and manage security technologies including SASE, EDR, SIEM, email security, application allowlisting, and endpoint privilege management. Troubleshoot and optimize security tools to ensure high performance, reliability, and rapid incident response across cloud and on-prem environments. Evaluate, test, and implement new security solutions, including leading proof-of-concept initiatives and automation improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional security and IT teams to support integrations, maintain documentation, and provide technical guidance and mentorship. What I need from You: 3 to 4+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on security engineering, tool deployment, and technical troubleshooting. Strong hands-on experience with security technologies including EDR, SIEM, DLP, vulnerability management, endpoint, and network security tools. Knowledge of scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash, with experience supporting cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
