People Soft Finance Business Analyst Location: Dublin (Hybrid) Salary: 75-80k plus 15% bonus Role Overview: The People Soft Finance Business Analyst will be responsible for leading People Soft General Ledger support and enhancements, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting. This role requires collaboration across IT, Finance, and external service providers, driving process improvements, and managing key finance system initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead support and enhancements for People Soft Financials (General Ledger, Multicurrency, Consolidation, Allocations, Journal Entry processing, etc.). Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and re-engineer processes. Coordinate application management activities across multiple regions and time zones. Develop functional specifications, manage testing (scripts, UAT, regression), and deliver user training. Provide subject matter expertise on financial processes, including VAT, withholding tax, and reporting. Support governance, prioritisation, and monitoring of Finance IT initiatives. Assist with integrations, reporting tools, and analytics (SQL, Power BI, n Vision, Business Objects). Key Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years experience in People Soft Financials.(A Must) Strong knowledge of core modules (GL, Consolidation, Allocations, Multicurrency, Trees & Queries, GL Workflow). Solid understanding of financial processes (tax provisioning, AP/AR). Hands-on experience with testing, training, and problem resolution in People Soft. Familiarity with People Tools, SQR, Autosys, and system integration. Strong SQL and reporting skills; exposure to Power BI or Business Objects is desirable. Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in global/multi-time zone environments.
