LabWare LIMS SME / Super-User
We are looking for a highly skilled LabWare LIMS SME to act as the primary super-user and technical expert for the LabWare system at our site. This role is focused on hands-on system administration, building and maintaining static data, troubleshooting, and producing high-quality documentation in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. The successful candidate will provide expert support to end users, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize system performance.
Key Responsibilities
LIMS Administration & Data Management
* Serve as the primary LabWare LIMS super-user for the site.
* Build, maintain, and update static data in LabWare LIMS to support laboratory workflows.
* Manage user access, permissions, and security within the system.
* Maintain system configuration and ensure alignment with global LIMS standards.
* Execute system changes under formal change control in line with GMP requirements.
Troubleshooting & User Support
* Provide day-to-day technical support for LabWare issues, from investigation to resolution.
* Act as the first point of contact for local and global LIMS queries.
* Identify and resolve user errors, system bugs, and interface issues.
Documentation & Compliance
* Produce, review, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and system documentation.
* Support CSV, system qualification, and regulatory compliance activities.
* Liaise with Quality and IT teams to ensure data integrity and GMP compliance.
Training & Continuous Improvement
* Train laboratory staff on LIMS functionality, processes, and best practices.
* Recommend and implement improvements to system workflows and user procedures.
Minimum Requirements
* Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline.
* Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with LabWare LIMS administration and configuration.
* Completion of LabWare LIMS Administrator Level 1 System Administration course.
* Strong experience building and maintaining static data in a GMP environment.
* Experience producing high-quality system documentation (SOPs, validation protocols, etc.).
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to support end users.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
