The Opportunity
We're looking for a newly qualified or early-career accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who's ready to take ownership of system transformation and FP&A projects across a multi-entity group.
You'll be joining at an exciting time — our finance systems (AccountsIQ) and reporting processes are being modernised to support faster, more automated consolidation and forecasting. This role blends hands-on accounting with systems thinking, automation, and data-driven insight.
Key Initial Projects
1. Finance Systems Optimisation (AccountsIQ)
* Enable and fully leverage AccountsIQ's consolidation and multi-currency features.
* Streamline & standardise chart of accounts, coding structures, & intercompany processes
* Automate month-end reporting and management packs using a combination of AccountsIQ, Excel, Power BI, or a connected FP&A tool.
2. Forecasting Model Build
* Develop a dynamic forecasting model (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) capable of running "what-if" scenarios and KPI comparisons for Private Equity stakeholders.
* Evaluate and potentially implement a 3rd-party FP&A tool (e.g. ProForecast, Farseer, Planful) alongside Power BI.
3. Entity Rationalisation
* Manage the wind-down of dormant entities and assist in simplifying the group structure.
4. Audit & Compliance
* Document financial processes, controls, and compliance obligations to assist the Senior Financial Accountants.
5. New Acquisition Integration
* Support the financial integration of acquisitions, aligning accounting, reporting, and systems.
Once the above projects are complete, the role will evolve into a core FP&A and systems support position, working closely with senior finance team members on forecasting, reporting automation, and business performance insight.
