Job DescriptionCivil Foreman - DublinWe are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily site operations on a variety of civil engineering projects across the Dublin region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundwork, roadworks, utilities, or general civil construction, and will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of projects to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate on-site teams, subcontractors, and machinery operationsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to required quality and safety standardsInterpret and implement construction drawings and specificationsLiaise with engineers, site managers, and project stakeholders to resolve site issuesMaintain detailed daily site records, including progress, safety checks, and labor/material usageEnsure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality proceduresMonitor materials, plant, and equipment deliveries and usageAssist in toolbox talks, inductions, and ensuring site health & safety is maintainedIdentify and report any potential delays or resource issues earlyRequirements5+ years' experience in a similar Civil Foreman roleStrong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, concrete, and road constructionTrade qualification or construction background desirable (e.g., carpentry, concrete, plant)Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects to schedule and standardExcellent communication and leadership skillsGood understanding of construction drawings, setting out, and technical requirementsValid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and CSCS tickets (e.g., Signing, Lighting & Guarding)Full Irish driving licenseStrong problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressureFor further information please contact Thomas in Brightpath Recruitment
