The Morgan Fuel Card and associated services help businesses control costs, improve visibility, and simplify fuel management.

Role Overview Based in Cork, the Outbound Sales Team Lead will lead a high-performance outbound sales team focused exclusively on new business acquisition.

The role is responsible for driving new Morgan Fuel Card sign-ups across the southern region through proactive outbound sales activity.

This is a hunter-led leadership role, combining hands-on selling with team management, and setting the benchmark for activity, conversion, and new customer growth.

Key Responsibilities New Business Sales Leadership Lead, coach, and motivate an outbound sales team dedicated to new business acquisition Create a high-energy outbound sales culture with clear activity and conversion targets Set and manage daily, weekly, and monthly new business KPIs Monitor individual and team performance including call volumes, conversion rates, and fuel card activations Lead from the front with personal outbound selling and deal closing Morgan Fuel Card – New Customer Acquisition Win new Morgan Fuel Card customers across SMEs and fleet operators Effectively communicate the value of the Morgan Fuel Card, including: Cost control and transparent pricing Centralised billing and simplified invoicing Fuel usage monitoring and reporting Fleet and driver controls Ensure strong onboarding to drive early activation and usage Additional Services (New Business Focused)Introduce relevant Morgan Fuels services as part of the initial sale Position value-added services to increase initial customer value Maintain a consultative, solution-led sales approach during first engagement Territory & Pipeline Management Build and manage a robust new business pipeline across counties south of Dublin and Galway Identify target sectors and geographic opportunities within the southern region Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and pipeline stages Provide reliable forecasts based on pipeline activity Quality, Compliance & Reporting Ensure outbound sales activity complies with GDPR and company policies Maintain high call quality and professional standards Produce regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations for senior management Share competitor intelligence and market feedback Skills & Experience Essential Proven outbound B2 B new business sales experience Previous experience leading or supervising a sales team Strong hunter mentality with a track record of closing new business Experience in high-volume outbound sales environments Excellent negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills Confident user of CRM systems and sales reporting tools Desirable Experience selling fuel cards, fleet solutions, utilities, or subscription-based services Experience using Salesforce CRMKnowledge of the Munster and southern Irish commercial landscape Experience building or scaling new business sales teams Personal Attributes Highly driven, competitive, and results-focused Leads by example with strong outbound activity Resilient and persistent with a positive mindset Strong coach with the ability to elevate team performance Commercially astute and data-driven What We Offer Competitive base salary with uncapped commission and team incentives Opportunity to lead new business growth for the Morgan Fuel Card in the southern region Clear career progression within a growing Irish energy business Ongoing sales and leadership development Pension and company benefits Job Type: Full-time Pay: €40,000.00-€40,001.00 per year Benefits: Additional leave Company pension Gym membership Private medical insurance Work Location: In person
