Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Assistant Manager based in Courtmacsherry. The Assistant Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, managing staff, and supervising departments such as dining, housekeeping, and event coordination. Responsibilities include maintaining high service standards, addressing guest needs promptly, supporting the events team, and collaborating with management to ensure smooth business operations. The Assistant Manager will uphold the hotel's commitment to excellence and its reputation for warm, professional hospitality.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in staff leadership, team coordination, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Proficiency in planning, organization, and problem-solving to ensure the smooth functioning of hotel operations.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
* Knowledge of hotel management, event planning, and hospitality industry standards and practices.
* Proficiency in using hotel management software, reservation systems, and general computer applications.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to managing challenges and changes in a dynamic environment.
* Experience in conflict resolution and ability to handle guest feedback constructively.
* Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotels or event management, is highly preferred.
* A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
