Java Developer – OpenShift Experience role at Expleo Group.
We're seeking a passionate Java Developer to join a team delivering impactful digital services for government initiatives.
2–5 years of hands-on experience in developing enterprise-grade Java applications, with a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
OpenShift Container Platform, 3scale API, and KeyCloak experience
Build high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade Java applications
Java application development across the full software development lifecycle (concept, design, test)
Expertise in Java development with frameworks such as Quarkus or Spring Boot
Microservice and API development (RESTful; design and implementation)
API security knowledge (OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect)
Understanding of Kubernetes, API managers, and WebLogic
Testing frameworks and TDD (e.g., Cucumber, JUnit)
Relational databases (Oracle) and data persistence
Code quality: adhere to project standards, maintenance, tuning, and user support
Integration of technical components to meet business requirements
Complete tasks across development lifecycle within scope and timeframe
Qualifications
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject
Essential Skills
Java, Spring, JavaScript, Angular2+, Quarkus
HTML, XML, CSS
Developing web services
OpenShift 4 and Docker containers
3Scale, KeyCloak, Spring JDBC, Maven, Gitlab
Active MQ Messaging (Red Hat AMQ/Broker/JMS), Jenkins, SonarQube
Artifactory, Jira, Confluence
Encryption, and integration with external applications
XML and JSON formats
Experience
2–5 years of experience in enterprise Java development
Public sector experience preferred
