Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in facilitating and supporting individuals in our Day Services.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide person-centred support to adults with intellectual disabilities, promoting their independence and empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives.
* To work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of service users.
* To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
* To contribute to the development and implementation of individualised support plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each service user.
Requirements:
* QQI Level 7/8 Bachelor's Degree in Social Care or a related field (e.g., Psychology).
* Registered with CORU or started the application process for registration.
* Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word.
* Full, clean manual driving licence.
