We’re offering a rare and exciting opportunity for qualified tradespeople to train as Aviation Engine Mechanics, supporting a global leader in aircraft engine services. You’ll work hands-on with state-of-the-art commercial jet engines—receiving full specialist training, international travel opportunities, and long-term career development in one of the world’s most dynamic industries.
What You’ll Do
As part of our global Engine Services team, you'll carry out a wide range of engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks in three key areas:
1. On-Wing Repairs – Engine maintenance directly on aircraft at airports around the world.
2. On-Site Repairs – Performing mobile repairs at customer facilities where engine removal is required.
3. Repair Station – More complex repairs handled in one of our dedicated service stations.
Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical inspections, removals, installations, and maintenance of aircraft engine components.
* Read and interpret engine maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
* Carry out fault diagnosis, precision repairs, and quality checks.
* Work to strict aviation standards to ensure engines are fully airworthy.
* Support engineers and quality teams with technical investigations and audits.
* Travel internationally for on-site or on-wing maintenance jobs at client locations.
* Train towards a recognised engine release certification, allowing you to sign off engines for service.
* Work within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment—always with a focus on detail, teamwork, and precision.

About You
To be considered, you must have:
A recognised qualification/apprenticeship as a car mechanic or industrial fitter, (Level 6) (min. 3 years).
Hands-on mechanical experience in a technical, regulated, or precision-based industry.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Willingness to travel internationally for short-term assignments.
A proactive mindset—you’re eager to learn, grow, and contribute.
