You will be responsible for overseeing the financial books for Ireland, the UK, and the US, ensuring compliance with local GAAP (Ireland), UK GAAP, and US GAAP while managing tax filings and financial reporting across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and maintain financial records for the company's Irish, UK, and US entities. Prepare management accounts and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Irish GAAP, and UK GAAP, aligning financial statements with relevant accounting standards.
* Manage ROS filings, including VAT returns, PAYE submissions, and Corporation Tax in Ireland.
* Oversee US tax and UK tax compliance, coordinating with external advisors where necessary.
* Support the month-end and year-end closing process across all entities.
* Reconcile bank accounts, control accounts, and general ledger entries.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities in Ireland, the UK, and the US.
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions as needed.
* Continuously improve financial processes and internal controls.
Requirements:
* Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Irish GAAP, and UK GAAP.
* Experience handling multi-jurisdictional financial reporting and tax compliance.
* Proficiency in accounting software is an advantage (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
* Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyse financial data.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
