Job Opportunity:
The role of a Senior IT Support Specialist involves delivering technical assistance across multiple departments, identifying and resolving hardware, software, and application issues, as well as managing servers, networks, security systems, and AV equipment. Furthermore, this position entails providing guidance to junior staff members and developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing daily IT support to various departments within the organization.
* Troubleshooting hardware, software, and applications to ensure seamless operation.
* Administering servers (WS2016+), managing networks, and implementing security measures.
* Maintaining AV systems to guarantee optimal performance.
* Mentoring junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 2-3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Completion of a third-level IT qualification.
* Expertise in Windows 11 Pro, Active Directory, firewalls, and virtualization.
* Experience with Veeam Backup.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Possession of a full driver's license.
