Bid Writer Construction (Ballinasloe) A well-established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join their team at their Head Office in Ballinasloe, Co.
Galway.
This is a full-time, permanent role supporting the companys continued growth through the preparation of high-quality tenders and prequalification submissions across a range of construction projects.
This position is ideal for a Bid Writer with previous experience in the construction sector who is looking for a stable, long-term role within a reputable and growing organisation.
Role: Prepare, write, and coordinate high-quality tender submissions, PQQs, and EOIs.
Review tender documentation and identify key requirements and deadlines.
Liaise with Estimators, Contracts Managers, Engineers, and Senior Management to gather technical and commercial input.
Develop and tailor method statements, technical responses, and company profiles for each submission.
Ensure all bids are compliant, professionally presented, and submitted on time.
Maintain and update the bid library, CVs, project sheets, and case studies.
Assist with post-tender clarifications and presentations where required.
Support continuous improvement of bid processes and templates.
Requirements: Previous experience as a Bid Writer within the construction industry is essential.
Strong understanding of construction terminology, processes, and tendering procedures.
Excellent written English with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider commercial team.
Right to work in Ireland.
Location & Working Hours: Based at Head Office in Ballinasloe, Co.
Galway.
Full-time, Monday to Friday.
Potential for one day per week working from home following initial onboarding and training.
Package: Salary: €45,000 €55,000 (DOE) Permanent, long-term position.
Hybrid working option (1 day per week from home).
