Job Title: Clinical Directorate Manager
About the Role:
The Directorate Operations Lead works within the directorate Senior Leadership Team to drive adoption and adherence to quality, patient safety and risk management systems through new ways of working. This involves planning, developing, organizing and managing the delivery of operational clinical services to all patients within their Directorate.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic partnerships to improve access to quality paediatric services at a regional and national level.
* Plan, develop, organize and manage the delivery of operational clinical services to all patients within their Directorate.
* Drive adoption and adherence to quality, patient safety and risk management systems through new ways of working.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Primary academic award in Business, Finance, HR or other related discipline at level 8 (or higher) on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) or its equivalent.
* OR, Professional qualification in a health-related area at level 8 (or higher) on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) or equivalent.
* Essential Skills & Experience: Currently working in a Senior Operational role (Grade VII or above) in a healthcare environment. 5 Years senior management experience with at least 3 years in a healthcare management post.
* Comprehensive knowledge of how major acute hospitals operate and their emerging role within an integrated healthcare environment.
