HR Officer - Manufacturing - Antrim
MCS Group is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to recruit an HR Officer on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
The role
As HR Officer, you will get involved in a broad range of HR responsibilities, with a particular focus on recruitment and onboarding.
You will work in close collaboration with managers and employees to ensure HR processes run efficiently and contribute to a supportive working culture.
This hands-on position is ideal for someone keen to expand their HR skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Main responsibilities
Manage various aspects of the recruitment process, including drafting job adverts, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and facilitating smooth onboarding experiences.
Deliver day-to-day HR support across departments, primarily around hiring and new starter inductions.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate HR records and support general administrative functions.
Assist in the rollout and enhancement of HR policies and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Provide initial HR guidance to employees and line managers, escalating more complex employment matters when necessary.
Contribute to wider HR projects that support business goals and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate
CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable.
Previous HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or similar operational setting, would be advantageous.
Solid understanding of HR administration and recruitment practices.
