Responsibilities & Technical Expertise
Your role will focus on delivering
sustainability and certification services
aligned with Evolusion's offerings:
· Deep understanding of life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies, ISO ********, EN including +A2), and relevant Product Category Rules (PCRs).
· Proficient in LCA software (Preferential One Click LCA).
· Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date with evolving standards (EN *****+A2, PEF, EPD frameworks) and able to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
· Data Management: Skilled in data collection, verification, and analysis, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
· Experience with environmental databases (e.g., Ecoinvent, ELCD, industry-specific datasets).
· Advise on
circular economy principles
, identifying opportunities for resource efficiency and waste reduction.
Support clients in accessing
Enterprise Ireland sustainability supports
and funding opportunities.
Collaborate with design and construction teams to integrate sustainability goals from concept through delivery.
Prepare technical reports, sustainability documentation, and certification submissions.
Engage in client relationship management and contribute to proposals for new projects.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum level 8 degree in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Construction etc are required.
· Proven track record in developing EPDs for construction products and conducting whole-building LCAs.
· Familiarity with green building certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM, DGNB) and how EPDs/LCA integrate into these frameworks.
· Experience in sustainability consulting, green building certifications, and commissioning processes.
· Soft Skills - Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-experts, write comprehensive reports, and present findings to diverse stakeholders.
· Collaboration: Works effectively with architects, engineers, manufacturers, and certification bodies to ensure alignment and project success.
· Problem-Solving: Resourceful and analytical, capable of identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and adapting to new challenges in LCA and EPD processes
· Familiarity with LCA tools, EPD development, and dynamic simulation modelling.
Strong understanding of EU Taxonomy, NZEB, and low-carbon design principles.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Ability to travel as required.
