Base Pay Range: €57,000.00-€63,000.00
About the Role
A leading engineering services provider in the high‑voltage and medium‑voltage sector is seeking Electrical Design Engineers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing, dynamic organization delivering design, installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance services across major renewable and power infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Must have EPLAN and High Voltage experience
Prepare engineering drawings including substation layouts, elevations, and lightning protection zoning
Produce panel schematic drawings
Design protection and control schemes
Develop equipment specifications
Carry out technical evaluations of equipment proposals
Prepare technical reports
Collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams to deliver high‑quality solutions
Education & Experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Familiarity with HV substation design (10k V-220k V)
Knowledge of utility standards (advantageous but not essential)
Proficiency in EPLAN and Auto CAD 2 D (advantageous but not essential)
Full clean driver's licence
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide technical leadership
Flexible, committed, and capable of working under time pressure
Safety‑focused mindset
Logical and creative approach to problem‑solving
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
