Purpose
Contributes to the success of Collateral Management and Funding (CMF) & Rates Trading in Europe, ensuring the execution of team goals, plans, and initiatives in support of business strategies. Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
Accountabilities
* Repo - Provide repo liquidity to EU27 clients, manage risk and liquidity of CMF secured funding books, focus on revenue and cross-selling.
* Bills - Market making European government Bill book, meet dealer requirements, manage interest rate risk, and meet revenue targets.
* Funding - Provide funding to GBM SIDAC units in secured and unsecured markets, manage GBM access to Treasury, apply FTP policy.
* Client Engagement - Assist sales in meetings and calls, focusing on beneficial client volume.
* Team Contribution - Participate in idea generation, strategy, risk management, and develop processes.
* Balance Sheet - Manage local and global balance sheet use, coordinate with TFRM and reporting teams.
* Risk Culture - Incorporate risk appetite and culture into daily activities.
* Operational Excellence - Ensure effective operations, controls, compliance, and risk management.
* Inclusive Environment - Support a high-performance, inclusive work environment aligned with company values.
* Regulatory Compliance - Meet Central Bank of Ireland fitness and probity standards, act with integrity, competence, and financial soundness.
Education / Experience
* Ability to achieve revenue targets while managing risks within limits.
* Understanding of markets, products, risks, and systems.
* Effective communication with management, front/middle/back offices, and support teams.
* Knowledge of industry, products, and regulations.
* Good client relationship skills.
