Site Engineer
Role & Responsibilities
Checking drawings, specifications & plans
Setting out reinforced concrete & steel frame buildings, piling, drainage, groundworks etc.
Supervising subcontractors & monitoring Health and Safety
Reporting to Site Manager or Senior Engineer on Site and liaising with subcontractors and other engineers and general workforce involved in the project
Dealing with technical queries where relevant
Quality Checks and Control
Site record Keeping
General Administration Duties
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
Third level degree qualified in Engineering / Related Discipline
Minimum of 5 years setting out experience
Experience using Robotic Total Stations and Level
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong Digital Construction and IT Skills with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills
Should have the ability to work well in a team-based environment
Should be honest, flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking.
