The Chef de partie will report directly to the Head Chef.
Good command of English language, work well as part of a team and having a good work ethic are essential for this role.
The applicant must be a good communicator, exceptionally friendly and inclusive, even after a long shift.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
· Preparing and presenting a wide variety of high quality and complex dishes.
· Keeping an eye on the section and standards.
· Supervising other chefs to ensure top quality products.
· Handling multiple tasks with attention to detail and presentation.
· Maintaining a good working relationship with the restaurant manager.
· Monitoring food temperatures.
· Having a strong awareness and compliance with all Health Safety work practices, and the HACCP protocol.
· Maintaining cleanliness within work areas.
· Ensuring a high standard of personal hygiene.
· Stock controlling, ordering, checking quality.
· Cost analysis and review.
Preparing reports and schedules.
