Who we are looking for
State Street's cyber Identity and Access Management team is seeking outstanding individuals with excellent intellectual and analytical capabilities, entrepreneurial problem-solving skills, and strong communication and influencing skills.
This role involves a broad range of responsibilities related to IAM and CIAM security design and resiliency changes, with aggressive execution timelines.
What you will be responsible for
As an IAM Security Engineer, you will be part of the IAM team designing security solutions for scale and building zero trust components to enhance end-to-end layered security maturity.
Thought leadership and Advisory
* Participate in long-term security strategy development and execution.
* Define user cases and IAM requirements aligned with the evolving business directions, including private, public, hybrid cloud, and partner integrations.
* Collaborate with business and architecture teams to lead the future state of scalable IAM architecture and develop building blocks for an adaptive identity framework.
* Evaluate technology products and services that support the IAM roadmap and business needs.
* Engage with, influence, and build trust across all organizational levels, driving collaboration and strategic alignment.
Project leadership
* Oversee implementation of key initiatives, working closely with management to execute changes, and define change management strategies and resource needs.
* Collaborate with functional teams at State Street to develop plans and materials for security requirements and validation processes.
* Participate in governance processes related to IAM design, ensuring communication and coordination across cross-functional teams.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required, with knowledge of:
* PKI infrastructure, security protocols, HSM, Secret Vault.
* MFA, Privileged Access Management.
* Access controls using Active Directory, AAD, IDP, and SSO.
* Access Management (RBAC, ABAC workflows), Privacy, and Governance.
* Designing and understanding disaster recovery resilience challenges.
