The Role:
An excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to work directly with the CFO of a dynamic and expanding group. You'll gain exposure across multiple divisions, taking on a commercially focused role where you'll help shape financial performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review management accounts for a number of divisions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Support the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Monitor financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Assist in implementing improved reporting systems and controls across divisions.
* Work closely with divisional managers to provide commercial insights and support business decisions.
* Contribute to group-wide projects, including systems integration and process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
The Person:
* Commercially driven, confident working closely with leadership teams with strong analytical and business acumen.
* Comfortable working across multiple businesses and managing competing priorities.
* Background in haulage, leasing, or asset-heavy industries is a strong advantage.
* Previous experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or commercial finance roles required
