SK9 are currently working with a nationwide construction group who are hiring for a Project Manager based in Kilkenny for an 18-month fixed-term contract to act as the primary point of communication with their end client.Some of the key responsibilities the Project Manager will be in charge of:Attending pre and post contract award meetings.Managing daily operations of construction projects from start to finish, including communicating with subcontractors and vendors about any issues that may arise.Gather client input and make recommendations on design elements and materials to be used in the projectManaging the hiring of contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers as needed to complete the project on time and within budgetEnsuring that all building codes and ordinances are followed throughout the construction processEstimating costs and managing budgets for projects using computer software such as ExcelCoordinating with clients, architects and engineers on project design issues and problems.To be considered a suitable candidate for interview, you will have the following background;Proven experience in the construction industry with experience in a project engineering/construction managements/project management roleStrong track record in successful project completionPrevious demonstrable experience of dealing with design, budget and scheduling issues and managing to a successful outcome.If you feel that you fit this criteria and would like to discuss in more detail, APPLY now as interviews will commence asap for the right people.Job Type: Fixed termContract length: 18 monthsPay: €75,000.00-€95,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
