This role focuses on transforming, structuring, and modelling data across the Medallion layers (bronze ? silver ? gold) to enable analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
It is not a reporting or visualisation role— it is a hands-on modelling and pipeline design position aligned to the architectural principles used across CDP.

Engage with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements, translating them into clear and effective data structures for analytical and reporting purposes.
Validate and produce AS-IS and TO-BE data models to support transformation, migration, and modernisation initiatives, including ensuring support for analytical, regulatory, and AI/ML use cases.
Collaborate with analytics, BI, and technical teams to ensure data models are fit for purpose, support data quality, auditability, and are optimised for querying, reporting, and visualisation.
Maintain high-quality documentation, including data model diagrams, data dictionaries, and mapping documents, and contribute to data governance and modelling standards across the enterprise.
You Have
Proven experience as a Data Modeller in complex enterprise environments, including regulated industries such as energy and utilities.
Strong understanding of data modelling principles (conceptual, logical, physical) and familiarity with modern data architectures (lakehouse, medallion, domain-oriented).
Expertise in producing data mappings, transformation definitions, analytical structures, and supporting analytics, MI, or regulatory reporting use cases.
Proficient with data modelling tools (e.g. ER modelling tools, Sparx Enterprise Architect), SQL, relational databases, and cloud-based platforms (e.g. Databricks, Azure).
Excellent analytical mindset, documentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage business, analytics, and technical stakeholders and knowledge of data governance, quality, or master data management.
