Member Service Representatives (Full Time)
Inspire Credit Union Limited are seeking to appoint Member Service Representatives.
Location:
The role will primarily be based out of both the Bishopstown and Cobh offices, and candidates will need to be available to work from either location.
Contract:
Permanent contract, subject to a 6-month probation period.

Inspire Credit Union Limited is one of the largest Credit Unions in Cork, servicing 30,000 members, with total assets of €260m, and offices in Bishopstown and Cobh.
It was formed out of the recent merger of Bishopstown Credit Union and Cobh Credit Union.
Job Purpose:
Deliver an excellent member experience by providing efficient face-to-face, telephone, online, and email service to members while adhering to service level standards and compliance.
All services are provided in accordance with policy, procedure, governance, security, and compliance requirements.
Duties
Provide exemplary customer service, resolving member queries to the first time and minimizing referrals to other departments.
Deliver service in person, by phone, online, and via digital channels.
Handle all transactions and counter procedures confidentially and professionally.
Process members' payments through the computerised accounting system.
Manage cash float, balance all cash handled, and apply best practices and policies.
Issue loans and share withdrawals to members.
Take applications for opening accounts, ensuring correct documentation.
Maintain the banking hall and counter area tidy and professional.
Perform other duties as advised by the Line Manager.
Stay up to date on promotional initiatives and new products/services.
Promote a culture reflecting the Credit Union's values and encouraging good performance and excellent member services.
Promote Inspire Credit Union services and products to prospective members.
Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of member information and ensure data security.
Requirements
Relevant third-level qualification or QFA desirable.
Previous Credit Union experience or active knowledge of the sector desirable.li>
Relevant experience in financial services and/or lending an advantage.
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Active listening skills to respond accurately to inquiries and requests.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Detail oriented, well-organised with a professional phone manner.
Flexible, adaptable with a positive attitude to change.
Productive work habits, time management, workload and priority setting in line with quality decision-making.
Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
Strong IT skills required.
