The Opportunity
We are looking for a Technical Trainer - Fiduciary to join our Learning & Development Team as part of our financial services business in Dublin. The Dublin office opened in 2008 and serves as a regional hub with 200+ teammates delivering best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide alongside our legal services colleagues.
The Technical Trainer – reports to the Global Director of Learning & Development as part of the L&D team but works closely with Global Fiduciary Services. The responsibilities of this role are to design and deliver effective training solutions to Global Fiduciary Services departments and team members.
Key Duties
Collaborate with functional areas and subject matter experts to identify training needs and design and deliver training solutions. Develop learning solutions, instructor-led materials (slides, facilitator guides, learner guides). Support the e-learning content development process with L&D colleagues.
Prepare and design training materials (multiple formats – Microsoft Office Suite, Articulate 360, Camtasia).
Facilitate in-house soft skills and management skills programmes in classroom and online settings.
Build strong relationships across the organization and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Provide monthly progress updates on learning plans and initiatives to various stakeholders.
Administrative duties related to programme delivery, including reporting, scheduling, and releasing of training via the Learning Management System.
Collaborate with Global L&D Programme Coordinator for programme coordination and record keeping; ensure administration is completed in accordance with MaplesFS policies and procedures.
Other ad-hoc duties related to training delivery as required.
Requirements
In addition to high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
Minimum of 5 years practical experience in the Fiduciary Services environment.
Excellent academic background, ideally with a professional accounting designation.
Demonstrable experience in training delivery and design; strong interest and aptitude for training-related projects, including curriculum design, training preparation and delivery (all formats).
Strong written and/or oral communication skills.
Proven track record of collaborating with other teams and strong relationship-building in cross-functional environments.
Excellent project and time management skills with a proven track record of delivering on assigned projects.
Highly organised, self-starter, detail-focused, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Willing and enthusiastic communicator who enjoys facilitating sessions and presenting in various settings to create engaging learning environments.
Analytical and pragmatic thinking; comfortable brainstorming with colleagues.
Self-motivated and proactive approach to work and personal development.
Presentation skills with an ongoing interest in continuous improvement of facilitation, training delivery and coaching others.
