Site Manager Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Site Manager to oversee the execution of one of our largest construction projects in County Kerry. This role will require approximately 2 years of dedication and commitment to ensuring the project's timely completion.
* This position involves managing all aspects of site operations, including workforce allocation, equipment deployment, and quality control.
* The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate with engineers, staff, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily and Weekly Work Planning
The Site Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing daily and weekly work plans aligned with the project's overall programme.
Resource Management
They will also be tasked with coordinating plant, labor, and material requirements to minimize delays and ensure efficient project progression.
Operational Sequencing
The successful candidate will sequence operations efficiently, taking into account excavation, formwork, rebar installation, and concrete pours.
Tasks Allocation and Productivity
They will allocate tasks to the workforce, optimizing productivity while maintaining a safe working environment.
Plant Usage and Maintenance
The Site Manager will manage and maintain accurate records of plant usage and deployment.
Quality Control and Compliance
They will ensure that works are carried out to the required design specifications and standards, adhering to RAMS and site-specific safety requirements.
Reporting and Documentation
The Site Manager will maintain detailed site diaries, capturing work progress, workforce levels, and plant usage.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in planning, directing, and coordinating projects on site.
* A related construction qualification, such as HNC or Degree.
* Strong IT and communication skills.
