About The Role

As our Irish business continues to grow, we’re strengthening our commercial and technical capability with a newly created Tendering Engineer role—sitting at the centre of proposal development, technical evaluation, and securing future work across our service and aftermarket operations. Key Duties
Take ownership of the end-to-end tendering process for service and equipment opportunities
Review client specifications and translate requirements into practical, engineered solutions
Carry out pump selection, sizing, and technical evaluations to ensure optimal performance and compliance
Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
Liaise with internal engineering, service teams, and external suppliers to build robust submissions
Engage with customers to clarify requirements and support pre‑tender discussions where needed
Analyse cost structures, risks, and margins to support sustainable business growth
Maintain and improve tendering processes, tools, and technical documentation
Support knowledge sharing across engineering, service, and commercial teams
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with a strong technical grounding in rotating equipment and a commercial mindset. You’ll be comfortable interpreting technical requirements, engaging with stakeholders, and translating engineering detail into winning proposals.
You Should Bring
Experience with pumps and rotating equipment (selection, sizing, or application knowledge highly desirable)
Background in tendering, proposals, applications engineering, or a related technical-commercial role
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop costings and evaluate technical solutions
Experience working within industrial, water, or process environments
Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and performance data
Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging customers and internal teams
A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
