Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills are key to success in this position.Nippon Express is committed to continuous growth and expansion, offering exciting opportunities for career development and leadership in the UK region.This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading logistics company, if you are an experienced Airfreight operator with a proven track record and a passion for excellence, we would love to hear from you.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end export processes including collections, airline bookings, and final delivery arrangementsAct as a key contact for some of our largest Key AccountsPrepare and verify shipping documentation including AWBs, invoices, and customs declarationsArranging collections from customers and deliveries to airlineBooking flights with airlinesFinalising ConsolidationsHandle special shipment types such as GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and Dangerous Goods (DG), ensuring strict adherence to proceduresCoordinate customs clearances, with knowledge of IPRs, SIEL/OIEL licenses, and Carnet proceduresFinalise consolidations and conduct post-flight checksClosing of files, completing invoicing on job levelMaintain accurate records and data entry using in-house systems and office softwareEnsure timely and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleaguesCollaborate closely with team members and escalate issues to the senior management as requiredUndertake any additional duties as assigned by managementWhat does the right candidate look like?Previous Air Freight operations experienceProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
