We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Killarney, Co. Kerry.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development of new products and their introduction into production
* Managing Engineering Change Notices and associated documentation
* Creating and updating manufacturing work instructions and procedures
* Liaising with suppliers for technical and quality-related issues
* Overseeing sheet metal fabrication and electrical assembly operations
* Managing Bills of Material and identifying opportunities for cost savings
* Coodinating preventive maintenance activities and external contractor engagements
* Conducting safety audits, attending meetings, and supporting 5S initiatives
* Leading ISO and regulatory audits
* Analyzing quality data and reporting to senior management
* Addressing quality issues via Corrective Action Reports
* Managing supplier returns, credits, and quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Requirements for this role include:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
* Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (non-FDA preferred)
* Experience in sheet metal and electrical assembly is highly desirable
* Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor and Excel is required
