Full Job Description:
As a Chef de Partie Assistant, you will work closely with our kitchen team to assist in delivering high-quality food to our guests. You'll be involved in all aspects of kitchen operations and gain hands-on experience that will help you build a strong foundation for your culinary career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and cooking tasks
* Prepare ingredients in line with recipe specifications and kitchen standards
* Support with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries
* Assist with stock rotation, stocktaking, and minimising food wastage
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas
* Follow all food safety and HACCP guidelines
* Learn and develop new skills under the guidance of experienced chefs
What We're Looking For:
* Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential - training will be provided
* Strong interest in food and a willingness to learn
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
* Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
