Project Coordinator Role
Bell Contracts & Co Ltd operate throughout the UK and Ireland, delivering construction, property redevelopment, and refurbishment services across various sectors. The company requires a project coordinator for new build healthcare projects.
The role involves coordinating site teams, ensuring compliance with drawings, works information, and health & safety requirements, and collaborating with senior management to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver projects on time and to standard by coordinating site activities and managing project timelines.
* Report directly to senior management, providing regular updates on project progress and highlighting any potential issues or risks.
* Manage and motivate site teams, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration to achieve project goals.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
* Follow construction drawings and works information, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
* Survey sites to identify potential problems and implement solutions to mitigate these risks.
* Organise and coordinate labour, ensuring that the right resources are allocated to meet project demands.
* Liaise with sub-contractors, ensuring that their work meets the required standards and deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare projects, strong analytical and decision-making skills, technical and practical knowledge of the building industry, and relevant 3rd party H&S site management training.
