Overview
NiftiBusiness is seeking a driven, commercially minded Head of Sales to accelerate our growth, win new business, and strengthen our presence in the motor, leasing, and financial services sectors. This is a hands-on leadership role - ideal for someone who thrives on being customer-facing, driving results in the field, and inspiring a team through example as well as direction.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales strategy while managing, coaching, and motivating a team of sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver the sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets across new business acquisition and existing account expansion.
* Manage, coach, and develop the sales team, providing clear direction, accountability, and support to maximise individual and collective performance.
* Engage directly in lead generation and frontline sales activity, building relationships with key customers, partners, and decision-makers.
* Identify, develop, and secure opportunities for fleet management and business leasing, and related channels.
* Drive a high-performance culture by setting goals, monitoring progress, and celebrating success.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to align sales activities with wider business strategy and long-term objectives.
* Represent Niftibusiness externally, attending industry events, networking, and raising the company's profile in target markets.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, risk, and governance requirements in every sales activity.
Requirements
* Proven track record in sales leadership, ideally within motor, leasing, or financial services (banking/lending).
* Demonstrable success in winning new business and delivering sustained growth.
* A hands-on, customer-facing leader who leads by example and is comfortable actively generating and closing business.
* Strong coaching and people-management skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to convert opportunities into long-term value.
* Resilient, energetic, and adaptable, with a results-driven mindset.
* Willingness to travel and spend significant time in the field with customers and team members.
