Electrical Design Engineer
Job Summary
Thompson Aero Seating is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to work within a multi-disciplined Engineering team delivering innovative design solutions for new concepts and customisation of existing products. The successful candidate will ensure delivery to cost, time, quality, and adherence to strict aerospace regulations and suitability for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Liaise with 3rd party vendors in support of projects, create relevant documentation such as Test Plans and Reports for electrical testing of seats, provide end-to-end support on an electrical basis throughout the project lifecycle, and support customer meetings as required.
Requirements
A degree or apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in an engineering environment. Proficient with MS Office and previous experience with design software packages such as Auto Cad, Pro E, Solidworks, Catia etc. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with customers, manufacturing, suppliers, and production teams.
Desirable Skills
Experience of Electrical Design within a design and manufacturing environment, previous 3D harness routing or pipe routing experience, and writing test plans/reports.
