About the Role
Serving seasonal Irish food at our busy, popular Hotel and Golf Club, which is accredited by critics and loved by guests. We are looking for an experienced pastry chef to join our award-winning team.
* Efficiently manage your own section, ensuring every dish is of high standard within the timeframe.
* Have a passion and flair for food, particularly starters.
* Work varying shifts, up to 5 days per week in a busy kitchen environment.
* Ensure compliance with HACCP and Food Safety Regulations, documenting as required.
* Liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues.
* Provide professional, friendly, and courteous service.
* Work with the team to prepare and set up the designated area before and after service.
Candidate Requirements
* At least 3 years' experience in operations with Banqueting and Fine Dining, in establishments renowned for good food, seasonality, Irish origin, and ingredient respect.
* Standards-driven with a proven track record.
* Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
* Good knowledge of HACCP.
* Recognised qualification in the culinary field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Own transport is advantageous.
