WE ARE HIRING FOR A KITCHEN PORTER AT THE GLASSHOUSE HOTEL
We're seeking a reliable and dedicated
Kitchen Porter
to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge and keen to progress their career within the kitchen team or hospitality.
This role is working across 7 days, with both morning and evenings shifts. Shifts typically are
7am to 4pm, 12noon to 10pm, 4pm to close of business

The Role
* Working as part of a team in preparation and portioning of food
* Follow instruction from chefs on duty
* Follow all cleaning schedules for the kitchen
* To keep the kitchen clean and tidy and to an agreed standard
* Following instruction and help with stock delivery, rotation and storage
* Waste management - dispose of kitchen waste and recycling properly and efficiently
* Dishwashing of delicate item like crockery, glassware and cutlery
* Washing kitchen pans, pots, trays and utensils in a correct manor
* Excellent team player
How Will You Stand Out From The Crowd
* Pervious experience as a kitchen Porter/ kitchen assistance
* Understanding of some basic rules of food hygiene
* First aid training an advantage but not essential.
* Strick time keeping is a must.
