Position Summary
Bentley Systems is undergoing a strategic transformation to modernize its sales, marketing, and ERP platforms. As part of this journey, we are seeking a visionary Principal Architect, Salesforce CPQ to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing CPQ solutions. This role will serve as a technical and strategic leader, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that streamline quote-to-cash processes and elevate customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

o Architect and lead the implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions that support global sales operations, pricing strategies, and contract lifecycle management.
*
o Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with Bentley's enterprise architecture.
*
o Govern the Salesforce CPQ architecture to ensure performance, maintainability, and extensibility.
*
o Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and IT to align CPQ capabilities with business goals.
*
o Lead integration efforts between Salesforce CPQ and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday), ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
*
o Define and enforce development standards, configuration best practices, and platform governance.
*
o Provide technical mentorship to developers and solution consultants, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
*
o Drive continuous improvement through performance tuning, automation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
*
o Participate in strategic planning, roadmap development, and vendor engagements related to Salesforce and CPQ platforms.
Required Qualifications
*
o 10+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture, with 5+ years focused on Salesforce CPQ.
*
o Proven track record of leading large-scale Salesforce CPQ implementations across multiple business units.
*
o Deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ modules including product configuration, pricing rules, quote templates, renewals, and amendments.
*
o Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex, LWC, Flow, and REST/SOAP APIs.
*
o Experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday) and middleware platforms.
*
o Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, CPQ Specialist, or Technical Architect are highly preferred.
*
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
*
o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Skills
*
o Experience with global deployments and multi-currency/multi-language CPQ configurations.
*
o Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
*
o Knowledge of data governance, SOX compliance, and security protocols in enterprise environments.
