Who We Are
(CHI) is leading the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare, comprising hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street, and Tallaght, as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.

Purpose of the Role
The role involves leading the Technical Services Department to support the Hospital's mission, vision, values, and strategic plan. The post-holder will collaborate with the Head of Facilities Management to oversee daily activities and resource management, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-focused services through effective operational management.
The role requires active engagement in continuing education and research, contributing to the change agenda, and preparing staff for the transition to the New National Paediatric Hospital. The manager will work with stakeholders on strategic and operational changes and represent the hospital in design and operational planning for the new hospital.
Qualifications and Experience
1. A third-level degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant management discipline such as Construction Management, Project Management, Facilities Management, or Building Services Management.
2. At least 3 years of management experience in a similar role.
3. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a Technical Services environment.
4. Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, statutory regulations, and HTM standards.
5. Knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, and Condition-Based Maintenance strategies.
6. Strong management and leadership skills, with a focus on governance.
7. Proven team player with change management experience.
8. Understanding of internal customer expectations.
