Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Vault System Engineer located preferably in one of our Flex or Anord Mardix locations on remote based.
Reporting to Head of Engineering Systems, the Vault System Engineer will undertake projects including introduction to new software, automation training, and supporting documentation of users as needed. You will be working in a team, reporting and taking guidance from the Head of Engineering Systems. This role would best suit someone wishing to or is already in an Admin type role of Engineering PDM software or has previous experience working in CAD reseller technical support type roles.
What a typical day looks like:
* Assisting with both ongoing and new tasks, as assigned by Head of Engineering Systems.
* Supporting surrounding departments with integration to Engineering systems.
* Optimizing systems for maximum efficiency and output.
* Debugging Engineering and maintenance of systems.
* Deployment of software.
* Coding within Autodesk Inventor ilogic / VBA.
* Testing, debugging, and problem-solving systems and projects developed.
* Assisting in data audits, ensuring business processes are followed.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
* Demonstrated knowledge on CAD software and Autodesk Inventor / Revit / Vault knowledge.
* Excel macros/VBA would be preferred.
* Able to work independently on multiple projects with great project time management.
* Methodical approach to problem solving and attention to detail.
* Strong skills in both written and verbal communication.
* Good understanding of Autodesk Vault Professional and previous experience using Autodesk Inventor/Electrical/Revit.
* Previous experience of code writing such as ilogic, VBA.
* Previous experience in CAD technical support type role.
