We are hiring qualified people for the permanent position of MRI Clinical Specialist Radiographer to our Hospital in Tralee, Ireland. Responsibilities
* Execute superior MRI procedures in compliance with the defined protocol.
* Assure patient safety by addressing any worries or inquiries from the patient and outlining the MRI procedure.
* Get patients ready for MRI treatments, which may involve giving them contrast dye.
* To get the highest image quality, make sure the patient is positioned correctly during the MRI.
* To guarantee that MRI equipment is operating properly, maintain and troubleshoot it.
* If necessary, help radiologists interpret images.
* Keep track of patient information and documentation of MRI procedures.
* Keep abreast on the most recent advancements in MRI procedures and technology.
* Engage in staff training and quality improvement projects.
Requirements
* Diagnostic radiography bachelor's degree or its equivalent is necessary.
* Registration for CORU is necessary.
* PgCert or MRI-related master's degree is preferred.
* A minimum of two years of experience working with MRI must be included in the necessary six years of full-time post-graduate clinical experience.
* Provide proof of current continuing education activities to support this clinical specialist position in MRI.
* Auditing experience is beneficial.
* Outstanding IT abilities are necessary.
* It is advantageous to have prior PACS administration experience.
* It is preferred if you have experience overseeing the provision of radiology services in MRI.
* Outstanding organizational abilities, the capacity to operate alone, and the capacity to collaborate with others.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Demonstrated capacity to work in a hectic clinical setting and adhere to tight deadlines.
