Operations Manager
To supervise the manufacturing process, ensuring production targets are met effectively and efficiently.
1. Plan, organise, and control production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
2. Manage day-to-day production operations, including workforce performance, machinery, and material flow.
3. Monitor production metrics (output, efficiency, downtime, scrap, OEE, etc.) and implement corrective actions.
The Operations Manager will lead the production team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Required skills include strong leadership and people management abilities, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies, good understanding of production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, strong organisational and time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, ability to interpret production data and apply analytical thinking, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
